Friends and musicians in the Maritime bluegrass community, have come up with a great idea to raise funds for the fight against cancer.

A CD containing over twenty prominent Maritime bluegrass bands, will be released December 2nd at the Moncton High school Theatre, with a evening filled with music by regional bands.

The release party starts at 7:30 PM with the proceeds of the CD  ("In Memory Of") as well as the funds raised at the party going towards the fight against cancer.

Scheduled to appear are: The spinney Brothers, The Bluegrass Diamonds, The Doughtrwrights, True Blue, Gerard Pellerin, Roxeen & Roberts, Blue Horizon, Blaze Of Glory, Harmony Ridge, Rustic Harmony, The Fiddling Landry's, Janet McGarry, Robbie Arsenault & Windy Creek, Blue Streak and The Dearman Sisters.
