After a long battle with cancer, Eric LeFort passed away Wednesday May 30th 2007.
Eric was the web master for the site, www.campatlantic.com and the composer of the song “Our Hero” written for the Moncton cancer specialist, Doctor Ruben.
The song is the first track on the CD “In Memory Of….” Released on December 2, 2006. The project has 21 tracks and is a bluegrass collection by Atlantic Canada’s bluegrass best, of which the net proceeds go towards the fight against cancer.
Eric was a great promoter of Maritime bluegrass music, and will be sadly missed by his family close friends and the Maritime bluegrass community.
