        The Silver Fox Bluegrass Band winter Pickin? Parlours, is ready to begin its six season.

        From November to May, the Jacquet River Legion hall has been the venue for this bi-monthly Pickin' Parlour, featuring The Band and the popular Open Mike session. Folks gather on Sunday afternoons from 2 to 5 p.m. to enjoy good old country and bluegrass music, meet old friends and make new ones. What better way could one find, to make our long winter months, drift by more quickly?

        This year's dates are as follows:

November (16-30)
December (14-28)
January (11-25)
February (8-22)
March (7-21)
April (4-18)
and May (2-16) weather permitting.
