This year’s Super Fiddle Show will take place Saturday, May 14th. at the Riverview High School Theatre, Riverview, N.B. with Proceeds going to the Riverview High School Safe Grad program. Showtime is 7:30 PM Guest include accordionist Roger Lanteigne, of Bathurst. Roger started on the button accordion in 1965 and since then has played across Canada, and always a favourite where he performs.

        Jimmy Lawlor of Miramichi has been in the music for several decades, and with his smooth delivery and Marty Robbins style, always captivates his audience wherever he performs.

        Natasha Richard is nine years old and thoroughly enjoys entertaining folks with her fiddling, singing, step dancing and harmonica playing. She will be accompanied on stage by her grandfather, Alyre Doiron and Aunt Evelyn Richard.

        Matthew Hayes is thirteen years old and has been playing fiddle for seven years. He has played concerts at the Imperial Theatre, The Festival by the Sea, and recorded his first CD at the age of twelve.

        Garold Hanscom has been responsible for the strong comeback of fiddling in the Northwest part of New Brunswick since the 1990s, and gives fiddling lessons to young and old.

        Leslie Farquhar is a student of Garold Hanscom having started fiddling at eleven years old. Her grandfather Joe Farquhar was a fiddler and fiddle maker, so fiddling came natural to her.

        Samantha Robichaud is a 2005 graduate of Riverview High School. She has many awards and accomplishments to her credit, including 2004 Maritime Fiddling Champion.

        Ivan & Vivian Hicks, along with the Sussex Avenue Fiddlers, round out this evening of entertainment and music. Ivan will also MC for the evening. Tom Johnson and Del Wheaton of Sackville will be the back-up musicians for various individuals and groups.
