I believe the lumberman in the middle of the picture is my great-grandfather, Alfred "Shorty" Goodine. Alfred was born in 1878 and worked in the lumber industry in New Brunswick before moving to Alberta around 1907. The earliest picture I have of him is 1913 but I have compared it every which way I can and I would swear that the man in the photo is him. Do you know where I could get more information about the photograph? Is there some way to track down the company he worked for and get information that way?
