I may be different but when I "surf" the Internet I like to see content. I don't "surf" to see things flying out at me or flying across the screen. To listen to music, I turn on my radio or put on a CD, I don't come on here.         So when I create websites I try to use the KISS technique. Maybe you can judge for yourself but so far I've had nothing but praise as to how easy to surf my sites are compared to others where you have to spend 1/2 hour on the site waiting for things to settle down or in order to find what you are looking for.         I also give courses, which include Introduction to the Internet and I see a lot of confused people who have a hard time "surfing" because of sites that are too complicated to view, sites that need plugins to view, sites that have cookies, popups, spyware, ads galore, not to mention slow loading.. etc... Saint Fidele A site about where I was born, Saint Fidele de Ristigouche, about 15-20 miles from the main highway on historical Kempt Road. Restigouche Sports Council The Restigouche Sports Council are presently trying to get all of the sports organisations in Restigouche to work together, to get better known, and more participation is required. Through this website they hope to get the word out to them all. Pierre D'Amours Guide Pierre D'Amours is located not far from Matapedia Quebec, he is a guide, fishing, hunting, he does sculptures, paintings, etc., a visit to his site will tell you a lot more about him. Les Montagnards Les Montagnards, skiing and biking is their business, check it out and see what they are all about for yourself. Cross Country Ski NB This site's title also speaks for itself, it is the Cross Country Ski New Brunswick organisation. My Trip to N.S. A few years ago my daughter and I went on a trip to N.S. and I created a website with the day by day story and photos. Photos are not as good as they should be as I only had a small very cheap camera then :( Ristigouche Sud Est This site contains a lot of nice photos and information on the Restigouche Sud Est area of Broadlands and Sillarsville etc.. Irene's family site This my own family genealogy, history, old photos, and a lot of other things relating to Campbellton and the area. Restigouche GenWeb This site was created for the County of Restigouche as part of the World GenWeb, which is an amalgamation of genealogy sites, information from all across the world. Gloucester GenWeb This site was created for the County of Gloucester as part of the World GenWeb, which is an amalgamation of genealogy sites, information from all across the world. When I say "affordable" hosting, I mean for approximately $180.00 (Canadian) a year you can have space for a website without cookies, without popups, and your own domain name (example: www.yourname.ca). Access to the file manager through FTP where you can make your own updates or I will do them for you for a small fee.
