G. Stuart Grimmer, born at Chamcook, N.B., son of John Davidson and Mary Agnes Kaey, former Dalhousie town councillor, retired customs officer, a Mason Lodge life member, he also held a commission in a Forestry Battalion in France during the First Great War. He died March 13, 1976 at the age of 89.

        Mr Grimmer wrote many poems and I will post a few of them here, in memory of him. Should anyone have more that they would like to share please submit them to my email address which is mentioned on the "Heads up" portion of this site.
